Polperro, Cornwall

Polperro is such a pretty place but difficult to visit by car as the centre is quite a long walk from the (very expensive) car park. We stayed in Talland Bay and really enjoyed the walk to Polperro, along the coastal footpath. It takes less than an hour and the views are gorgeous. There are 2 small beaches in Talland, each has a cafe open March to October. We also walked into Looe and had a fabulous meal at The Sardine Factory. We stayed in one of the sea view, holiday cottages at Talland Bay, a gated development, where there is an indoor pool and delightful, well kept grounds with a safe play area for the children. This part of Cornwall has loads of places to visit, including The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Eden Project and several National Trust Houses. We have had a great time.
