Please Help With Estimated Driving Time For Italy!

Hi,

I've never driven in Italy before and have no idea on how much time I should allocate for driving from one destination to another. If you have the experience please help me with estimating the driving time from the following points:

1. Venice to Lake Garda - Desenzano
2. Desenzano(Lake Garda) - Florence
3. Florence - Lucca/Pisa
4. Siena - Rome

Thanks!

You can also get estimated times at sites like viamichelin.com. A lot depends on your driving style, time of the day and year, etc.

Thank you for the web site! It was very useful once I was able to find it.

For other interested people - could not find it with http://viamichelin.com and after some research I found it at http://michelin-travel.com

I don't know the exact times but when we drove in Italy we found the Mapquest estimates were actually a bit longer than the actual time it took. The main place where you could lose time is upon entering a busy city, where the traffic could be horrible, depending on the time of day. We find the highway driving very easy.

We found that mappy.com was very accurate on time. Sometimes we would doubt the route given to us on mappy, and check with locals but were told that we had the best route. It worked great for us and we drove a lot!
