@M25 - nice to know you're a real person! It is, unfortunately, not unknown for people who are here primarily to advertise their own services and/or their own country, to create multiple IDs in order to give themselves more coverage.

Since this thread has gone off track, it would be a good idea for you to start another one, once you are a bit clearer about what you want to see. I agree with kja about consulting some guidebooks. I would start with the glossy picture ones, like Insight and DK before tackling Lonely Planet and Rough Guide (I prefer LP, but either are good for logistics). For sightseeing info you might also look for Michelin or Cadogan.

I also agree that with a small child and no car you will need to limit your moves. You will be traveling with more luggage than before and will need to allow for more down time. I like the idea of flying into Zagreb and out of Split (see skyscanner.net for flights). Trains are few and far between in the Balkans, but there are plenty of buses.

You will need at least two nights for Plitvice. I prefer Split to Zagreb, but both are worth seeing. There are several day trip possibilities from Split. Alternatively, you could substitute the Istria peninsula for Split or Zagreb - there are non-stop flights between Pula and Amsterdam on Croatia airlines.

The guidebooks will have info on the bus companies, but you can also use rome2rio - or the maps app on your smart phone!

Well it seems that he has been using fake reviews to boost his business on Tripadvisor. When challenged, he proceeded to attack the members just like he has done on here.

if anyone is attacking here it is you PolSmit... like Pol Pot, or better, like Goebbels, you try to repeat 100 times that my reviews are fake and you think that will be the truth. if my reviews are really fake how you know that and TripAdvisor doesn't. But, I know the answer, officially from tripAdvisor stuff, they said they have a problem with you and some small group of people like you who try to blackmail some small agencies. I have your crazy emails and you are reported, you "worst nightmare" as you have named yourself. But it was stupid because you can be found by IP Address.
The prove for my reviews is--- if your lie will be truth and if you will know that, tripadvisor will know that much before you and all of my reviews will be deleted.

M25, i do have respect for anyone... except for blackmailers and those bad guys who just say that I'm fake. Usually I ignore them, but not if they attack on me personally... but every lie says much more on them... they do not help to you... they (like PolSmit) just talk about me... it's a shame!
