Please help - I can't decide between the west and south coast of Turkey, and 2 Greek islands plus Athens.

Weadles,
Not that it matters, but I don't understand your concern about the air conditioning in the Tower Villa. The website says that it is air conditioned.
I haven't verified the schedule in May for hydorfoils (I think it's too early), but I am thinking that it might be better to avoid going to Marmaris simply because it is another 2 or 2 1/2 hour drive past Bodrum on an already full day.

Hi Weadles - The Marmara Bodrum looks wonderful. I am trying to sign up for their specials email to watch for a good deal. Of course, it all comes to zip if no ferry leaves from there in May, LOL.
Mike, we might have to do all this research for Marmaris! I remember I thought the Su Hotel looked nice the first time I planned this trip, and the price seems great. I cannot remember what other properties I looked at in the Marmaris area, I will have to go thru my notes.
Murat - I get to buy the second round! It would be fabulous to meet you for a drink. Three Fodorites meeting definately constitutes a mini GTG! Who knows, we might even scare up a few more Fodies before May!

Hi Happy and Mike,
Maybe even Weadless in Cappadocia 3rd round on me and I will certainly advice on good wines of Cappadocia. If Esbelli is out of stock, the wine factory is around the corner and owner is a friend I am sure he will sort out the query....
Ofcourse this will all depends on my usual Greece travels which takes about 3 weeks in May ! Maybe than we meet somewhere in Greece....if not Cappadocia (Iwill do my best to be present)
Mike; when I am on grounds I am not familiar and time is a concern always take a taxi (after a bit of trying ofcourse)to get to the point. Once in Mersin happend to my wife with a group of Israelian guests at night, transferred from Adana airport.Mersin Hilton is the tallest building of the city you see from everywhere and driver said he knows the way. After few circles in different streets my wife stopped the minivan at a kiosk to buy something and arranged the taxi next to kiosk to lead them to the hotel. Guests realized that and later told us how smart it was to stop at kiosk for shopping The lesson was learned; why? The group had spesific itinerary, mountains, villages and hikes before arriving Cappadocia. With our guide me and wife did all the route one by one and only at the entrance of the Mersin junction we did not drive into city assuming it was easy to find the hotel at 1st night.....
Regards from Sunny Cappadocia,
Murat
