Yeah, and Saint-Lazare being NW and Orly SE, plus with all your luggage, I think it should be closer to € 40 than 35 for each ride. The AF bus ex Invalides is € 9 each.

seems like you figured this out but to respond to your initial question to me, I was able to find a Direct flight early August, Caen to Nice around 6 pm and booked a phantom return to Charles de Gaulle, which brought the cost down to around $265 per person.
