Hello--<BR><BR>My family and I are looking for 3 or 4 star accomodations in Grindelwald. Does anyone have any favorites? We will be there mid-May for 4 nights.<BR><BR>Thanks!

Have stayed three times at the Alpina, just up a short hill from the train station. Especially nice because all the rooms face the Jungfrau and Eiger with nice large flower lined balconies. It is a family run place, with one of the nicer restaurants in town -- specialty of several types of fondue, including a wonderful meat version. It is simply furnished, but fairly spacious and well laid out rooms in a nice "Swiss" contemporary mountain style.
