Pintxos guided tour recommendation?

Hello all - we will be in San Sebastian at the end of February for 6 nights and would like to take a Pintxos tour. Does anyone have a recommendation for guides/tour companies? Thanks in advance.

We just walked around the old town and ate at places recommended by our hotel that looked good. Seems like the places tend to either be traditional or contemporary

Yes, I can recommend Tenedor Tours, the original food and wine tour company, since 1997. The founder, Gabriella Ranelli de Aguirre, was the organizer of Bourdain's Basque Country episode of Parts Unknown and appeared in the episode along with her husband, has taken Rick Steves around and numerous other chefs and travel writers, and is on a first name basis with all of the Basque chefs.

Thank you Maribel. I may be missing something but I can't see any Pintxos tours on their site. I was looking for a 3 hour tour (I should have been more specific). It looks like they do comprehensive trip planning.

[QUOTE=Jackie44;17521563]Thank you Maribel. I may be missing something but I can't see any Pintxos tours on their site. I was looking for a 3 hour tour (I should have been more specific). It looks like they do comprehensive trip planning.

When I need a pintxos tour i just contact Gabriella or Katherine through Tenedor for booking. As far as I understand they still do custom tours but there are now so many companies offering pintxos tours that they prefer not to do group tours and now customize everything.
The tourist office offers a low cost group tour as do many other new companies that have sprung up during the last few years because of the massive increase in tourism.
