Pet stores in Paris

I'm always on the look out for fun, chic stuff for my two Bedlington Terriers. Anybody got a recommendation for such a shop in Paris? Thanks.

I never see Bedlington Terriers anymore and I just love them!
There was a shop in the 7th that I have to look up, as I did not go inside but window "licked" .. full of adorable beds and toys.

There are lots of pet shops right next to each other along one of the quais facing the Isle de la Cite. I think it's Quai de la Megisserie or next to it on the Quai de Gesvres.

Excellent! Where should I drop them off?

They are very sweet dogs, and I think they're getting a little more popular. Mine are young - 1 1/2 and 10 months. Still, no one knows what they are. Most people guess Airedale Terrier - which is funny because Airedales weigh 70 lbs and these two weigh 20 each! (Not to mention they do not look like Airedales.) A few people have looked at them and said "baaa" - they know what they are.

Thanks scarlett and stududley for the ideas. If you find out scarlett let me know. I won't buy anything for myself in Paris but I'm apt to buy for them!

I LOVE the look of Bedlingtons.
What are their personalities like?
Do they stay at 20 pounds? Airedales always look huge to me.

The Samaritaine department store has quite a large pet area. My dachshund was very happy with his new collars and probably very glad that I didn't get him any of the bizarre doggy outfits that were on offer.

Oh I love Bedlingtons, if Scarlett and Intrepid1 get too busy, I will be glad to pup sit. I had a Kerry Blue and an Airedale and truly no one would mistake a Bedlington for either breed. Though they all do have very TERRIER personalities, don't they?

Hi everybody. My Bedlingtons certainly have terrier personalities - but perhaps slightly less so than my previous dog, a West Highland. My Westie LIVED to hunt squirrels. These two are pretty interested, but then go on to something else naughty (digging holes perhaps).

I think they bark less than most terriers. These two are well socialized with people and other dogs, so of course they don't pick dog fights. As cute as they are they are still DOGS though. Puppy will eat poop if he's bored and the older dog will roll in mud or whatever...). After they came in really muddy this morning I groomed them both and then we went for a walk in the park. Everybody thought they were SO sweet - I was thinking, well, you should have seen them a couple of hours ago!

I agree with StuDudley's suggestion. The quai de la Megisserie has many pet shops.
