Perugia: Laundry?

Do you know a coin or wash-and-dry laundry in central Perugia?

We will be staying at Hotel Fortuna, Via Luigi Bonazzi 9.

There is a laundry shop on Corso Garibaldi towards the bottom. The owners name is Fabrizio. He washes and folds your clothes for you. Much better than an impersonal laundromat!! Maybe a 5 minute walk from Corso Vanucci (head straight down Via U. Rocchi and past Palazzo Gallenga - the Universita' per Stranieri - and up Corso Garibaldi. Fabrizio is on the right hand side going up the hill).

Thanks, nnolen.

This is exactly what I'm looking for.

I believe the laundry you suggest may be Bolle Blu, at Garibaldi 43, mentioned by ellenem.

It could be - I don't remember it being BolleBlu, though. I'm pretty sure BolleBlue is coin operated and further up the street. So, you actually have two options on Corso Garibaldi.

We searched in vain for the mysterious Fabrizio and never found him. We ended up doing our own laundry at Bolle Blu, Garibaldi 43.

Darn. Well, thanks for the update. I'm sorry to hear he closed. I loved going in to see him and his pomeranian. You could never get out quickly - always a chat about his son, his wife....This is depressing in the extreme.
