Perhaps makes traveling just a little easier???
Having been a professional photographer for over 50 years is perhaps one reason I have done this, however ANYONE can and should do it. How many times have you had a couple of exposures left on a roll, you want to get it off so you can process it; just take some close up photos of your favorite luggage. Always carry it with you, with your tickets and WOW, should the worse thing happen that your luggage has been lost or detained, when they ask which type it is, so much easier to just whip out your picture, than having to look at the chart and decide actually which kind of luggage do YOU have. The agents are always surprised, amused, etc but ALL say it makes their job easier and more efficient. Try it, it is fun, if nothing else and has come in handy many times on my travels and certainly makes for conversation. Happy Traveling. Mary Jayne

Thanks for the idea. I sometimes also take pictures of my appartment, flowers on the balcony, my immediate home surroundings. That makes for a nice complement to letters I send to my friends abroad and is much better than any description I can make.

Yes, one would assume that I DO NOT carry the photographs of the luggage in the luggage. Which reminds me of one trip, after many reminders, one couple did pack their passports in the luggage, which of course had already been checked through and had to be hunted for. It DOES take all kinds of folks. And that IS what makes us all human beings.

Good one Elvira. I must get one of Dor. Also if one does get lost don't forget you can have many copies made and tape them up in phone boothes with your number written on the bottom.<BR>'Least I think that's what all those photos were for...............
