Patricia Welles glossary...on PDA????

Hi all..Rob are you there? I was telling my husband about the glossary of food terms. Someone said it's 40 pages?..is that true?..anyway, he wants me to ask if it's something we should put on our PDA.

Incidentally..we have a Palm Tungsten C.

Thanks.

It takes up 484kb - and it's searchable. Go for it.

It's downloadable as a Word document - - and I would bet anything that it can be saved as a .txt file (might result in loss of accents, etc).

Best wishes,

Rex

Yep... the Word file (.doc) is 313 kb, and it can be saved as a .txt file - - only 127 kb (and it does NOT lose accents, etc).

I'm not sure Word is supported under Palm OS - but I know Adobe Acrobat is. Here's a link to the pdf

And here's where to download the reader:

Whilst she includes lots of obvious terms (e.g. chocolat = chocolate, tricky), and some utterly useless obscure ones, she neglects the whole croutons/sippets issue. With the latter nearly always being confused with the former.
