Paris web sights

Hi all, my apologies if this is archived, I searched the last 150 messages and couldn't find much. Just looking for some of the best web sights for general information regarding metro, attractions, hotels, dining etc.. Thanks.

http://www.ratp.fr/index.eng.html <BR>http://www.paris-web.com/ <BR>http://www.pageszoom.com/wrmm_rue_marchande.cgi <BR>#1 gives you Paris transport info; #2 is in French; #3 gives you pictures of the streets in Paris (plug in a street address, get a list of everything on that street, plus pictures). <BR>If you do a websearch through Yahoo or Hotbot, you can find the official websites for the museums and various sights (Louvre, d'Orsay, Versailles, etc.). For hotels, restaurants, etc: http://www.paris.org/. I use this website quite a lot for updated opening times of the museums, things to do, etc.

Chuck (and specially travellers that have already been in Paris) <BR> <BR>For information that isn't normally available in guide books, presented in a light and agreable way, do visit <BR>http://home.earthlink.net/~primos/paris.html <BR>It contains a very personal description of the back doors of all of Paris' arrondissements. <BR>Paulo <BR>

Geez you people are on top of things. Thank you soooo much. You're all so helpful and this forum is a blessing. For fellow travelers to be able to converse with others who have been there and give their opinions is so great for planning and knowing what to avoid and what is important, etc. Thanx again for the web site info Patty
