I have a Bosch machine and you can adjust temperature, spin drying speed and for type of fabric.
I can't imagine any programme taking as long as three hours.
I suppose that if you washed cotton at 80 degrees with a pre-wash, it might take a long time, but I never do that.
It is an A+ for energy.

I also couldn't touch a combined machine with a barge-pole.
I have only ever met them in holiday cottages
