Paris - Villa Beaumarchais

Does anyone know what section 5 rue de Arquebusiers 75003 might be? Also, any reviews of the neighborhood would be welcome.

That is the Marais area - my understanding is that it is very nice - albeit quite trendy.

if it is the marais, that is a great neighborhood. just across the river from notre dame, good local restaurants and some boutiques which are open on sundays. best description of the area is that it's a combination of the jewish section, gay section, and trendy boutique section and apparently all of these different cultures co-exist quite harmoniously. best part is, that while there are a fair amount of tourists there, if you look at who lives there, you are going to get some authentic shops and restaurants as well-it'd be impossible not to mix with locals there.

It's a one block street just a few blocks from the Picasso Museum in the Marais. Area is fine. Walk over to the Musee Carnavelet - terrific museum. For more Paris information e-mail me: [email protected]
