Paris - Transportation from CDG to Hotel
Bonjour:
I had heard that taking a taxi from CDG to my hotel in Paris was 55 euros a flat rate. Is this true? Is it better to take a G7 or Uber? Or is Metro the way to go, but with luggage; maybe not. Thanks very much. Merci'

Flat rate taxi to the right bank (which the Gare de Lyon is on) is 53 euros and is probably the easiest way to get to your hotel if you don't want to deal with the train with luggage. Just make sure to follow the signs for the official taxi queue (it is well-marked) and do NOT go with any of the "drivers" who may try to approach you inside the airport and offer you a special deal - they're not officiall and most of them are scammers. Wait in line at the official queue and you should be fine.
I've never done rideshare before from CDG but I've heard there's a separate line for G7 and uber, so this could be an ok option too - but if there's a lot of traffic and prices are surging, uber might be more expensive.

Since Covid, we've taken taxis between the Novotel at the Gare de Lyon, and CDG 5 times. No-brainer, IMO.
