But macross is already going early and returning late>

Again 9 am may not be early enough to nab cheaper tickets?

7-8 am may be earlier and I would suggest anyway to get 1=2 hours more in London.

It's a necropost - Macross started responding to it and so it goes...

apersuader65 - what time did you leave Paris on Eurostar train? What fare did you pay? What times were cheapest? Thanks.

Don't forget to take passports!

PalenQ, sorry, been out for a bit. Luckily, I still have all my confirmation e-mails, so I have the exact dates and times!

We departed on the first train that day (Wednesday June 1st) at 7:37 Paris and arrived at 9:00 london. Our return was the last train back and it left at 8:01 London and arrived at 11:32 Paris. The total R/T was 78 euro per ticket. I purchased the tickets on the first day they were available on the app I used (Now called GoEuro) and they were that price. I didn't check again to see if they went down.

Geez louise, necroposting now am I? I used the search function and this post popped up with the last post being May 2016. Not much has changed since then. We have not booked tickets yet. We are going to Reims before Paris and if we don't get to Epernay might do that instead for a day trip.

FWIW, wagnerbell revived this post in 2016, not Macross. Macross read the thread, including the wagnerbell update and asked a direct question to me. I personally prefer to have one thread on a common theme instead of having 12 different post threads. I relish seeing Robspierre's threads being revived.

Macross: you just need to remember the name of the posters that complain when you regularly violate their personal, unwritten rules of using Fodors. Once you've identified the names, you can simply scan past those posts.

Is there a list of these unwritten rules?

The ignore function in The New Place may also be helpful.

apersuader - thanks for info. 78 euros return sounds like a bargain.

Macross if doing Eurostar should book ASAP. Trains to Reims or Epernay not so important as full fare is not that great but could still save money and be guaranteed a seat at time he/she wants.
