Paris St Germain Hotel
Looking for a 3 star hotel in the St Germain area.I realize the rooms are small and thought picking a hotel and opting for a deluxe room would solve this problem.Would prefer a hotel that has been recently modernized but with a personality and with good bathrooms with tubs. Thanks Stan

stan
what do you want to spend?
I stayed at the d'Aubusson about 15 months ago it's on rue Dauphine in the 6th. We had a "deluxe twin" that was about $250 or so. Hotel is very charming but modernized, nice-sized bedroom, good bathroom with tub and shower, thick robes and towels.
You can do a search on this message board for that hotel or for Paris hotels in general.

You might want to check-out the Hotel Buci Latin. (Not sure if it is a 3 star) but the rooms are a decent size, as are the bathrooms. It is also in a great location just a short walk from the Blvd. (They do have a website with a view of the rooms.)

The hotel does tend to cater to a younger cleintle. If you are looking for something a bit more formal, and expensive, look into Relais Christine. The rooms can be a nice size, as well.

Last May we stayed at the Hotel de Fleurie and absolutely loved it. The bathrooms were modern w/tub, the rooms adequate in size and well-arranged, quaint but not rustic, friendly, the softest towels, a comfy bed and a FANTASTIC location. They have a website www.hotel-de-fleurie.tm.fr. I would defintitely stay there again and after all my research I made the right hotel decision. Good luck.
