You know, there are other ways to get to Paris with hotels next to them.
There's the RER B that goes to Gare du Nord with the excellent 3-star Mercure Terminus, to name just one. It continues on to Châtlet and Saint Michel, with other excellent hotels.
There are also the Air France buses that go either to Porte Maillot and the Arc de Triomphe, or else the one that goes to Gare de Lyon. Many, many other good hotels in those areas.
Also, do you know the meaning of "3-star" hotel according to the French classification system? It would behoove you to find out.
