Paris Restaurant Scoop

I have been reommended the following restaurants. Does anyone have any scoop on them. Also, are these lunch or dinner places?

Le Quinzieme
Alcazar
La Regalade
Aux Lyonnais
Chez Denise

Thanks

You can find a lot about Regalade and Aux Lyonnais by using the search function on this board. We like Regalade and many on this forum have recommended both Regalade and Aux Lyonnais.

La Regalarde is my favorite Bistro. It's a short walk from the beautiful Parc Montsouris.

Hi cigale,

What is the metro stop for La Regalade? I'm wondering if I should get a new map just to find this bistro. It's not on my Streetwise map, but I don't know how far off.

Haven't been there, but odd-numbered bldgs should be on your left as you walk south. NOTE: mappy.com has a misleading habit of placing the "marker" somewhat arbitrarily on the map. The photo walk tells me the restaurant is actually between rue Morere and blvd Brune, on Jean-Moulin.

If you can get ahold of (or pay on line subscription) a Zagat Pairs restaurant guide they are all in there except Le Quinzieme.

Linda,

Here is a post from January discussing the changes in La Regalade since the original chef left:

La Regalade was our favorite bistro on our visit 2 years ago. We just made a reservation there for our trip in June.

We had drinks at Alcazar in their mezzanine bar, so I can't comment on the food. This is a Terrance Conran restaurant, so it is a very modern and trendy space. It was fun to have a drink there, but I haven't heard good things regarding the food.

I'm thinking about trying Aux Lyonnais on my upcoming trip as well. I keep reading good things about it. And, my hairstylist is from Lyon and it would thrill him if I tried the food from his region which he loves so dearly.
