Paris restaurant - l'Appart

Patricia Wells gives this restaurant, l'Appart, a good review, and I like the prices and location, but I can't find much more about it. Can anyone give me more information or their review of this restaurant?

I'm trying to decide upon a typically-French, moderately-priced, not-too-touristy bistro (or preferably, contemporary bistro cuisine) that's in a somewhat central location - we're staying in the 6th - for a party of 6 Americans. We might want to walk along the Champs Elysees after dinner, which was how I came up with l'Appart. But we don't have to eat nearby to do that, of course, it just makes the logistics easier. Au Bon Accueil, Chez Maitre Paul, l'Epi Dupin and Les Bookinistes are also on the list. Any advice? I'm having a difficult time deciding between many good choices!

I've been to L'Appart a couple of years ago. Invited by French business persons. Not too formal, good food. I think it was upper mid-range pricing. As the name implies, decorated like a cozy apartment.
Yes, bistro style cuisine, not too touristy. Frequented by young professional crowd.
Very central, on rue de la Boétie, just off Champs Élysées.

As a result of several less than favorable reviews lately, I might scratch l'Epi Dupin off that list. While I loved it last year, several people who've been lately had bad experiences.

lisa, did they have bad experiences or was the pairing of flavors too different for their taste?
I have not read anything aboutl'Epi Dupin being any less than an excellent place to eat, only a couple of people that found the sweet/sour mixing of certain dishes too unusual for them.

Ate at Bookinistes and L'Epi Dupin a few weeks ago and liked them both---had read the negatives about L'Epi Dupin but 3 of us had great meals, excellent friendly service and a warm goodbye from the chef at the end of the meal (they have 2 seatings and we went to the early one). Hope you enjoy!

I have eaten at all of the restaurants you mention , and ate at l'Appart about a year ago partly because its open on a sunday evening and I was staying within walking distance, while its quite a pleasant restaurant, I didnt think the food was as good as the other restaurants that you are considering,l'Epi Dupin is certainly better In March this year I ate at Les Bookinistes and Au Bon Accueil, the food was good in both I preffered the ambience and service at Au Bon Accueil,
I hope this helps
