It's been a while since I have been to Paris, but I believe they have Taxi stands all over the city where you queue up, and the taxis come by and pick you up. I am sure somebody will confirm whether this is still the case.

Our upscale poster suggested some places for you. Is that Per person or a duo. Look for a thread about rue Cler restaurants for great eating.

If you should have to call a taxi, it may arrive with a small charge already posted on the meter.

Just keep your eyes open while you are out & about during the day in your neighborhood. Note the location and menus that interest you. That's how we found our most memorable meals.

Asking your front desk staff is another good option.
