Paris Nov. 7-11? Yes or no?
Considering a sort of spur of the moment trip to Paris due to a ridiculously inexpensive airfare, & I have to decide in short order. I've been to Paris several times before, but only in May-August when the weather was pretty nice. Help talk me into this or out of it. I'll have 4 full days & nights & would like to take at least one daytrip to someplace I've never been -- Fontainebleau, Dijon, Rouen, or Lyon. My major hesitation is the weather -- I'm guessing November will be cool (40s-50s?) & possibly rainy?

hi lisa
I've been there in most months at one time or another, and all I can say is if you haven't had much rain you've been very lucky. Yes, you are likely to have cool-cold weather and rain esp. in November. For me though, Paris is not a place that anyone picks for weather. You can look up historical weather stats for November, but that won't guarantee anything. If you love it anyway, just take sweaters and a coat, waterproof shoes/boots, extra dry socks, and go for it. Maybe you will be lucky again.

I agree with Ron totally. I just returned last Friday and already I am thinking of when I can go next. When we were there it had hot sunshine for 2 days and then it beacame showery and cold after that. But I wouldn't mind that kind of weather if I could afford to go back.

Hi Lisa,
I go to Paris about every other month, and it doesn't matter when you go - it's always great! Just take some lightweight long underwear and you can decide each day whether to wear them or not - works for me. It's always going to rain no matter what - I jusr go but those cheap ponchos and stick them in my pocketbook - use them and throw them away.
Have Fun,
Sue
