This map shows the Rue Vieille du Temple stop (to the left) a little closer than Hôtel de Ville (to the right).

So does this one:

ok, so it seems I have much to look over. Thank you so much for all the replies! The reason I wrote that Hotel de Ville was near my hotel is because on another thread I had posted the best way to get from Paris Gare Lyon to our hotel (we are taking train from Avignon TGV to Paris Gare Lyon) and one poster had mentioned Hotel de Ville... I will have to look into the Metro St. Paul for our arrival and I have all kind of researching as far as our hotel to Paris Nord. I will have a camera bag, a shoulder bag (criss-cross in front of me so as I will not be carrying anything on my shoulder) and then a 22/23" suitcase ... so it should be light. Unless I find Fabulous shopping and end up with a very heavy suitcase and multiple bags!

.... or better yet should I just take a taxi? It will be a Saturday morning and my train departs Paris Nord at 6:55am.

With minimal luggage, I'd be tempted to forget about the Métro altogether - either arriving or departing. The N° 69 bus stops practically in front of your hotel, and you can ride it directly to and from Châtelet, where no fewer than 14 bus lines can take you anywhere in Paris.

Given the hour and the probable need to get there quickly, I would suggest having the hotel calling you a taxi. The distance is not that great, but keep in mind that the driver will start the meter when he heads in your direction.

How much would a taxi cost from our hotel in the 4th (Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais) to Paris Nord? Also, what would a taxi cost from the same hotel to CDG .. around 40 euros?

While I'm on this train of thought ... my sister will be flying out of CDG later that morning .. is there a direct route for her to take?

Thanks!
