Paris Museum Pass

When using the Paris Museum Pass for adults and we have a child with us, who is free admission, do Ihave to fall in line to get a free pass for my child? I know that there is always a long line for the Orsay and the Louvre.

You by-pass the cashier line and go directly to the entrance/security check. Children just go in w/parents - there is nothing to show.

Just returned from Paris and there were absolutely no lines at either museum and i suspect is the case from October through March at least.

I too just returned form Paris yesterday and there was no queue into the Louvre (well the entrance which we entered) but there was a queue to the Orsay, on Sunday.
