Paris in March? And what hotel?
Hi.
First of all I'd like some pros and cons on visiting Paris in mid-March.
We want to stay in the Marais area or not far away. Therefore, do anyone have experiences/suggestions on hotels in that area? Especially I'd love comments on:
- le Caron de Beaumarchais
- hotel de Jeu de Paume
- Brettonnerie
- axial Beabourg
- Pavillon de la Reine

Bjorn, Oslo
Bjorn: If we knew that!
I was there in May and it was just perfect. Now, Central Europe is coldish and rainy. Not really the norm for August! You'll agree.
I'll be going back to Paris end of the year. I do not really care about the weather, although it might be nice if it did not rain like last year end of December. But you might be lucky, March *can* be dry and sunny, but don't expect heat waves. I would avoid the Easter weekend (end of March 2002).
Paris is great any time! Enjoy.
