Paris Illuminations Tour

Has anyone taken the tour where you are driven around at night to see the lights of Paris? Did you like it? It costs $22.00. Thanks.

It means your post goes to the top of the board.

I did this 2 years ago while in Paris with my mom. Normally I am not one for tours but we had a really great time. It's the best way to see everything twinkling in Paris. I would do it again and definately recommend it. We bought our tickets the day before at the Tourists Info office by the Arc d'Triomph. Have fun!

We took this tour on the advice given by Rick Steves, in his Paris guidebook. It was quite lovely and we would recommend. Try to get the upper deck seating on the double decker bus. We purchased our tickets at the hotel where we stayed. Judi

I'm new to posting as well - Why would you "top" just to get your posting (which is otherwise blank) to go to the top of the list?

Oh, I think I see now. The posting becomes more recent when you "top" it, and therefore appears at the top of the list so you don't have to search for it. Duh!

We received a complimentary Seine River Cruise from our hotel in Paris which came as part of their summer promotion.
We were just there last month and really enjoyed the illuminations tours (although we are usually not big on tours). This city is simply spectacular at night and it was alot of fun. There was a goofy guy taking pictures of everyone and he had an aminated toy chicken on his hat which made everyone laugh (and so you are smiling in the pics). We actually bought our picture as we really loved it. I see it every day on my way to our dining room as I framed it because it brings back such nice memories.
Take the usual precaustions with your belongings aboard the ship and surrounds.
You'll have a ball.
