Paris Hotels - Any Comments?

Hello
Now that our tickets have been purchased, we are tryng to decide on a hotel. Has any stayed or heard anything about the Duquesne Eiffel Hotel or the Unic Renoir St Germain?

Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Have you tried looking on tripadvisor.com or doing a text search here with these names? The first sounds familiar (maybe mentioned here).

I've stayed at the Duquesne Eiffel Hotel many times. I love it. It was completely renovated a few years ago, and though the rooms are typical Paris size - i.e., small - they are beautifilly furnished in provençal fabrics, and the bathrooms are all marble. Its a great neighborhood, the staff are quite pleasant, and the rates are reasonable.

I believe the Duquesne Eiffel is more well-known than the Renoir. Also the Duquesne looks nicer. The Renoir is in Montparnasse and not in St. Germain.
