It is now definitely official: the American Express and JCB logos have appeared on the Vélib screens on the street, so swiping those cards should now work.

Visa Electron and Maestro debit cards also work, but it is mentioned on the screen that the 150€ guarantee will be blocked on the card for the period of the subscription (1 day or 7 days).

Now all we need is somebody to actually try the system with one of those cards...
