Paris Boutique Hotels?

At the beginning of May we spent 6 days at the Relais St. Germaine, and it was everything we'd hoped for in a Left Bank hotel. Only 22 rooms, it's charmingly decorated with antiques but at the same time very comfortable. It's in the 6th Arr. close to the Odeon Metro--great location and helpful, friendly staff. Our room had a loveseat, two overstuffed chairs, antique desk and chest of drawers and overlooked a fascinating street scene of sidewalk cafes (but thanks to double-paned windows and a.c.was very quiet at night! Rates are apparently based strictly on the size of the rooms with the most expensive being the one suite with outdoor terrace at somewhere around $330 (didn't get to see it, but were completely pleased with our room which was less--I think the rates must start around $200).

Mike

I think www.france.com has some great hotels with great information. That is where we found information on the hotel we stayed in this past May. However, I'm not sure if we actually made our reserations through france.com. (I recall emailing the hotel directly).

Although Martha had problems with them, I would still recommend the site for its great photos and info.
