Louvre - go early. My sister and I were there today at 9:30 am and it was the least crowded visit that I have ever had (I think this is my fourth time there). By the time we left at 12:30 it was jam-packed full of people.
Same for the d'Orsay.
Eiffel Tower - can't advise as I've never gone up, I just like the way it looks from the ground. Make sure to see it at night when it sparkles!
I have taken the Bateaux Parisien tour three times. There's a nice narrated tour in English (among many other languages). It is a good thing to do on your first day in Paris when you are tired after a long flight. You can catch the boat on the Seine across the street from the Eiffel Tower.
We're headed to Notre Dame and Montmartre tomorrow. I'll add another comment here for you after that ( I am playing tour guide this week to my sister).
By the way, Paris is full of American and Italian kids on spring break this week. We are seeing a lot of Japanese tour groups (lots). I am guessing you might see the same next week.
The weather has been spectacular! Hope it continues for you next week.

Notre Dame was not too crowded today. We saw a few gypsies, not too many.
When you visit Notre Dame, make sure to head over to Berthillon for ice cream. It's over on the Ile St. Louis. Yum.
Did not visit Montmartre but did visit the Père Lachaise cemetery. It is worth a look but wear comfortable shoes as the cobblestone streets are a killer. My feet still ache!
Hope you enjoy Paris!
