I got tickets a few years ago through a tour guide, you may want to ask your nearest tourist agent.

The papal audience I experience included another 1000 people in a huge auditorium in the Vatican. I don't know if the pope is doing any private audiences anymore.

Hi. We were fortunate to recently attend a quadruple beatification with the Pope last month. I don't know how you get an audience but he does these every Wednesday so it can't be too difficult.

I did a search on Google and came up with the following web site. http://www.activitaly.it/inglese/iti...sh/udienza.htm

You can start there. You might also go to your local library and check tour books.

Another suggestion is to type Papal Audience into the little search window above because I'm sure this question has been asked before. The answers will appear in the column to the left of your screen.

Good luck.

Just returned from Rome after spending Holy Week there. I had tickets to all eight public appearances of the Pope as it was a very memorable experience. The greatest event was Easter Vigil Mass in Saint Peter's. I received my tickets from the Bishops Office for United States Visitors to the Vatican. The web address is: [email protected]. Send it to the attention of Monsignor Roensch. You'll probably hear back from Sister Anthony Mary who is his assistant as she's a very young nun who speaks perfect English.

You can also try typing "Papal Audience" in the search box above and you'll be able to pull up lots of old threads that will answer your question.

But also check out Santa Susanna website. It has your answer:

Is the Pope still wearing those Balenciaga ballgowns? It must take four people to get those things off of him when he has to use the loo.

You can contact your local Archdiocesean Offices. I believe they can request for you a Papal Audience.

You can get the papal audience tickets from your consierge at your hotel. There is also a church named the church of santa susanna that also provides tickets.
