Pants to St Paul's Easter Sunday

Upon reading other people's ideas for Easter Sunday in London, we are going to attempt to attend Easter services at St Paul's Cathedral. My question: Nice dress slacks, turtleneck sweater, wool coat, leather walking boots. Acceptable attire for church??

Yes, that will be fine. It could be chilly in the cathedral - the wool coat is a good idea! There isn't really a "dress code" for Anglican churches. NB was "pants to ..." a joke? In the UK "pants to" something is somewhat derogatory!

In London Pants are underwear-Trousers are pants,knickers are also underwear,sometimes they get into a twist.If that happens take them off and the lads will be panting.
