Palaces in Spain and Portugal

Now narrowing down a few of the most recommended Palaces in Spain and Portugal. For sure we will do Alhambra and maybe Alcazar in Sevilla. What about the ones in Portugal near Lisbon- Palacio Real de Sintra, Palacio Nacional de Queluz Palacio Nacional de Pana (2.5 miles south of Sintra)???And then of course there is Alcazar in Segovia and La Granja Palace 6 miles S of Segovia. Any feedback will be appreciated.Thank you,

Palacio Real de Madrid ?
I am not a "palace person" , but I liked this one .
The lovely Plaza de Oriente facing the Palace is a great place to relax (in one of the elegant cafes).
The area is one of my favorites in Madrid.

Sintra is amazing, I highly recommend not only the palace but the town centre as well!

Will second the Palacio Real in Madrid. Sumptuous rooms and furnishings, and the tour isn't all that time-consuming -- about an hour or so, with maybe another half hour to explore the few open spots not covcered by the tour.

The Palacio Real in Aranjuez, an easy day trip south of Madrid, is another worthy such attraction to consider. Liked this very much as well. The tour is self-guided and takes a couple hours or so. Also walk the sizable adjacent gardens, which are very nice in season.
