I'm another huge fan of packing cubes. I have a couple from Eagle Creek and a couple of no brand (that I can tell) that I picked up at Tuesday Morning.

I use both packing cubes and all size zip lock bags, primarily 1 gallon and 2.5 gallon. Tried the vacuum ones a couple of times with not much luck.

I put my cotton slacks and capris individually on hangars in dry cleaning bags. No wrinkles whatsoever!!! Wrinkles are caused by friction, and the dry cleaning bags prevent friction.

I'm in the cube group, too. For my last month-long trip I had three varying sized cubes in a 18x12x8 bag I could put on my shoulder. I rolled almost everything and never really unpacked so there weren't clothes everywhere around the room.

I use the Eagle Creek envelopes and wish I had a few more of them. I have had them forever and use them very often. They are still in great shape.

I am going to try bags or cubes for underwear and socks.

I also do a little tissue paper when folding garments. It really keeps down the wrinkles.

Another packing cube enthusiast here. I have used them for years. I buy mine from ebags.

They rule! They definitely maximize space, they keep everything neat and tidy and cut down on the scrunching and wrinkling. I made my husband a convert after a few trips and he saw how well my clothes made the trip. No more silly rolling for him.

The OCD traveller in me immediately went to the ebags website and they're having a 20% off sale until midnight tonight (MST) in case anyone wanted to know! 3 bags - Sm., Med., and Large for 19.99...
