Oxford, England
We've just decided to visit Kelmscott Manor and Kelmscott Village this Saturday, then spend the night at an Abingdon B&B and spend the Sunday in Oxford.
We've never been to Oxford before.
Know for sure we want to visit Ashmolean. Other than that, are the schools within walking distance of there? Suppose those would be the two main things we'd like to see since we'll only be there for the day, having to drive back home to Surrey that evening.
Thank you for replies and/or other info/suggestions.

Most of the colleges are w/i a pretty compact area all waking distance of the Ashmolean. Radcliffe Camera, Bodlean, covered Market, etc.

Thanks janisj - and I can't *wait* for Kelmscott. Been wanting to go there for years. We've done most all of the William Morris 'stuff' in/around London, so Kelmscott was next on the list.
Thanks too, Underhill for the tea recommendation. Followed the link and looks *very* nice!
