Overnight Trip from Florence

What is the best overnight trip from Florence - leave early one morning, return late the next day? Your help and ideas are always appreciated. Thank you.

What are your interests? Your idea of best things to do might be different from ours.

How much travel time are you willing to spend to arrive at your overnight location? One hour each way? Two hours each way? Three?

There are many options, so we need help from you to narrow the possibilities.

I'm going to be with my daughter who is studying in Florence this semester. This is the final weekend of our trip and wanted to do something outside of Florence. We'll have been to Venice, Siena, and Rome. In addition to those places she's been to Milan. We'd rather only spend a couple of hours on a train, someplace a little relaxing so we can have quality time before I leave. I was thinking Bellagio or someplace like that but felt it might take up too much of our time to get there. Thanks for your input.

What about the Cinque Terre? Very slow-paced, relaxing, and easy to get to from Florence.

How about Orvieto, Perugia, or Assisi in Umbria?
