I'm trying to organize the 'Central Europe in 2 Weeks' itinerary found in Fodors Essential Europe:

Munich-->Salzburg-->Vienna-->Prague-->Budapest-->Ljubljana

I think because of the age of the book, some of the transport options are no longer relevant. For instance, we're putting Ljubljana at the end instead of after Vienna, because there's no longer a direct flight between Vienna and Ljubljana.

So now I'm trying to find overnight trains between Prague and Budapest, and then between Budapest and Ljubljana. We will be going in early December (to see the Christmas markets). Again...Fodors makes it sound like these are a regularity, but I can't find anything. The best I can find is a direct overnight bus between Prague and Budapest, but I can't find anything direct between Budapest and Ljubljana.
