Overnight in madrid

Will be arriving at Atocha train station in Madrid after 3 week stay in Spain prior to flight home . Train arrives 12:30 and flight out next day is 12:30. Any suggestions on where to stay as will be spending 4 days in Madrid at beginning of trip so just want it to be easy. Near train station ?? Like Room mate hotels and looking in $150 night range.
Thanks

I second the Room Mate Alicia. For one night you are right on the Plaza Santa Ana, where there are lots of tapas bars and cafes, and much more within easy walking distance.

The reason I asked is that hotel rates usually drop sometimes dramatically after July 15.
Then single rooms can be found at the Room Mate Alicia for around 100 euros, including the buffet breakfast. So, yes, it's within your $150 budget.
