our "regular" posters who...

Have places to rent in France and Italy.
The Dijon thread reminded me on one I started to give business to our long time regulars who never mention their places. Did anyone save the list and would they send it to me?

cigalechanta, I kept a copy of the thread you started. Email me at [email protected]">[email protected] and I'll send it to you. In the meantime, I'll try to clean it up to post it here although it may get deleted again.

I've lost that thread, but if I remember correctly, the folks who have places to rent are cocofromdijon, carlux, blackduff, and, maybe, someone named David with Paris garrets to rent??? Let me know if my memory is as good as it used to be...

cigalechanta, here is information I've gleaned mostly from your previous "disappeared" thread, comments on this forum and personal contact. None of the people who rent these places has advertiosed them on Fodor's in any way that I'm aware of so I hope this will not be censored. I have included email addresses and or websites whenever possible and hope that other readers will fill in the gaps.

Many Fodorites have stayed in Coco’s apartment in Dijon. www.myhomeindijon.com http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34780111 http://tinyurl.com/zvuj5

St Cirq sometimes rents her home in the lovely little hamlet of St. Cirq le Bugue in the Dordogne. [email protected] http://krokosbackpack.net/lacoste/

PB Provence sometimes rents her home in Provence and/or offers B & B. http://www.moulindegreoux.com/

Keven has a lovely B&B in Provence. French lessons are available.

David_paris has apartments for rent. http://www.slowtrav.com/cl/detail.asp?l=1208

Blackduff has an apartment in the seaside village of Argeles Plage in the Pyrenees near the Spanish border. http://www.pyreneesmediterraneanholidays.com/menu.html

Carlux manages two beautifully restored medieval houses just outside the town wall in Sarlat for friends and also rents a lovely small apartment adjoining her own home in the very pretty village of Carlux in the Dordogne. All are very well equipped. Moolyn has very happily stayed in La Bouquerie in Sarlat. http://www.yourfriendsinfrance.org/

La Tour de Cause operates a 5-room B&B deep in the heart of the Dordogne valley's "Golden Triangle," very near Castelnaud-La Chapelle.

Sheila has a large house, Au Chateau, for rent in the Mid-Pyrenees. Chicalechanta has stayed there and says it is lovely. http://www.frenchescape.net/ [email protected]

Lutece and her husband have an apartment in Paris, which is listed in VRBO. http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34655759

I thought Lutece and her husband moved to Paris and they are living in the condo. Does anyone know if she's still living there?

This apartment if from one of our own, unfortunately, I don't know her screen name, but she has also never advertised her apartment here.
Great apartment and great to deal with.

Thanks, moolyn. I had some of those but not all of them.

Here's the link to Kevin's place:

Good Morning and thanks everyone. I don't have a printer and lost my files
Moolyn, thank you. (I emailed you but it was returned?)
When someone is looking for a place it's nice to be able to refer them to our friends here.
I've been a guest as a friend at Sheila's home,
A paid guest at Patricia's (PB)
Both beautiful but different styles.

cigalechanta, I'm not sure why your email was returned as spam gets through. I tried it and it worked for me. I don't like to post my real email address here. I will keep updating this list as it's a great idea. Thanks for starting it!

cigalechanta, I received your cute card. Thank you back 465 times!

By googling and email checking I can now provide a website for the beautifully restored B&B run by our own helpful but reticent La Tour de la Cause. guesthouse.http://www.latourdecause.com/index.html
