Other than castles....

What is there, historically and interesting, in Wales, Scotland, and England, and not like a museum of natural history?<BR>Something that a teen like me could get into without to much shopping

In northern Wales, we enjoyed seeing some of the woolen mills, watching the rock climbers. There are slate (I think) mines I believe you can tour. Plus there seemed to be a lot of good hiking in the Snowdonia area and there are a lot of very scenic small towns to visit. We read about the region in Rick Steves' Great Britain book and followed some of his tips. Had a great time.
