Ostia Antica & Hadrian's Villa

I was wondering if the two of these would be something we could do in the same day?

Thanks for any help.

Are you driving? I think it would take around an hour to get between sites and you would have to check opening times to see if it is possible. Both are quite big but it would be possible to get a flavour of 2 quite different sites. It might make rather a long, tiring day though.

If travel by stopwatch is your thing, I guess it's "doable." It'll be a long day.

Both are at opposite sides of the town center. Ostia is close to the sea and Hadrian's villa is on the road to Aquila.
Both are quite big and more than interesting enough to spend your time.
Doing both thoroughly the same day will lead to cultural indigestion!

Hi jr,

I responded to your other post.

You also seem to be planning Versailles and Chartres in one day.

I wouldn't recommend either plan.
