Ortakoy by sea

Hi Friends,

We intend to head for Ortakoy district during our visit to Istanbul next July , to attend The Sunday Bazaar . Is Ortakoy accessible by Ferries ( public or private) from Eminonu or Karakoy ?

Thank you in advance .

There are three evening commuter ferries to Ortakoy from Eminonu as per the following link:

http://www.sehirhatlari.com.tr/en/20...t-m-26-37.html

This is valid until June 19. You should check the Summer schedules after that date at www.sehirhatlari.com.tr/en

There ferries do not operate on sunday!!!

What you call the Sunday market is actually an everyday market in the Summer, so you can go any evening.

If you do not mind the cost, you can get an IDO Sea Taxi for about 80-100TL for up to 10 people from Eminonu to Ortakoy and arrange by telephone, paying on the boat cash or by credit card. (usually, plus tip)
