Hello!

We have a 7 a.m flight on a Saturday from Orly to Rome on Easy Jet, it's been suggested we arrive to Orly by 5 a.m. even 4:30. Transportation wise I've looked a airport shuttles but they do not even run this early, most begin at 7 a.m. - Metro is not running this early either.

Do you think there will be any problems in getting a taxi (at a Taxi stand) so early in the morning? We will be staying in the 3rd very close to Arts et Metiers.

I have been reading that the ride should take approx. 30 min with a cost of about 40 Euros or so. I believe it will be a bit more due to the time. Any feedback on this is most appreciated.

call a taxi company and make a reservation or use your hotel to do so. its the only way to guarantee such an early pick-up. It will be expensive - but better than missing a flight. You're probably looking at double the quoted fare.

Call or have your hotel call Taxi Bleu.

I agree it's best to book a taxi under these circumstances. Expect there to be about €10 on the meter when it gets to your hotel/apt. The fare may be a little higher than normal due to the time of day, but at least you won't hit traffic!

I have used World Shuttle to go to the airport in Paris several times. They operate 24 hours a day.

Thank you all.I contacted via e-mail Info Taxi Paris @ www.infotaxiparis.com - they just sent me a quote of 55 Euros.

I too will keep the World Shuttle and Taxi Bleu info bookmarked.
