ordering theater tickets online for overseas shows

I just ordered tickets to Billy Elliot through Lachmars in London. Have ordered tickets before for NYC sold out shows without any problems. Anyone have any experience good or bad with overseas orders?

I ordered tickets to Lion King in London thru Ticket Master UK, they were mailed to me quickly, no problem.

I've ordered opera and ballet and theatre tickets many times from France and never had a problem.

Lashmars is a VERY old time, reputable London ticket agancy. They are the grand daddy - been around since at least the 1920's.

You won't have any problems . . . . .

Janis, Thanks so much for the info on Lashmars. That was one of my concerns how reputable they were.None of the other brokers had anything available matinee or evening. They had the matinee performance available. So looking forward to the play.

You won't be disappointed. The other option would have been phoning the box office of the theatre directly which I recently did for three shows and got great tickets for all three.

Whether or not the telephone charges will be more than an agency booking fee would be is anyone's guess.

y friend phoned the box office direct and there wasn't anything available. that's how I ended up searching for ticket brokers. Even then these tickets were hard to get. Lashmars was probably the 6th or 7th place I tried.
