ORD-CDG plane

Hello all: We leave in a few short hours for Paris, flying out of Chicago on United.

All along we believed we would be on a 767-300; now it seems like United has changed to a 777-200.

Has anyone flown this Chicago-Paris (really, Denver-Chicago-Paris) route recently, and can confirm the plane?

I am curious as it will impact our seat assignments quite a bit.
THANKS!

Well, at least the 777 is a bigger plane, so you won't get bumped.

Can't confirm the schedule, but if you want to find out which are the better seats go to www.seatguru.com

Have a great trip!

Just returned 3 weeks ago, from EWR-CDG RT on Continental's 777-200. I was dreading it (and whining on here!) from what I had heard, with the 3-3-3 configuration, but I must say that it wasn't so bad. The plane seemed "higher" (deeper?) than the 767s and 330s that I am accustomed to on USAirways, and that helped, psychologically, if nothing else! www.seatguru.com said that last 2 seats in plane (row 44 on CO) were good, so I got them for my sister-in-law and me on way home. They did recline as fully as the other seats, and I would choose them again.
You have your own screen on back of seat in front of you on the 777, and that's a plus.

see what seatguru has to say about your particular United 777.

Comparing Uniteds 777 to Continentals is like compaing apples and oranges.
Continental 777 - 2 class plane, business and economy. Sitting 3-3-3.
United 777 Atlantic configuration - 4 class plane, first, business, economy plus and economy. Sitting in economy 2-5-2.

Paco, if possible, try to upgrade to economy plus. You will have about 5" of space in front of you.
