Leaving for Italy in 36 hours... thanks to all.

Okay, so it's about that time. Of course work has piled on the "you must get this done before you leave" stuff and I'm burried in it, so I'm still at work...

But, I had to take out a few moments to thanks all that have advised me, helped me, knocked sense into me, etc.

Because of you all, I'm packing about half of what I would normally pack for one week, much less two... and it's freeing.

I'm trying to stop reading all the trip reports and just enjoy my own... however I can't help but gather the last bits of information.

Anyway, thanks to all and I will be sure to repay the favor to all those who come after me by posting trip reports, if for no other reason than to re-live it all.

Rome, Florence, Venice, Lucern (Switzerland)... here I come!

Wishing you a beautiful trip Itilley! I sure know the feeling of trying to get everything done at work before taking off. But once you are on the plane just forget everything, relax and feel the freedom that you cannot be reached. And yes, packing light is a good freeing feeling. When you are in Venice have a glass of Prosecco and know I am thinking of you! CinCin.
