options from st. lucia to mestre in morning sunday?

I checked on tren italias website and it seems that the only train from lucia to mestre is at 4 pm in the afternoon on sunday may 25. but I need to catch the drd bus from mestre that goes to ljubljana at around 11 am. so how else can I get from lucia to mestre?

Those trains run all the time and take 10 minutes. 7:12, 7:15, 7:26, 7:41, 7:42, 7:56, etc.

I got those times from bahn.de (easy site for schedules) but I also see many trains shown on Trenitalia. You have to put Venezia S. Lucia as the departure station and Mestre as the arrival station. Be sure you spell correctly otherwise you might not be able to view the schedule.

thanks, the bahn is a better website than the other. do i need to order in advance, does it "sell out?" also, on the bahn.de website i can't buy tickets. if i wanted to, which is the website to go to?

Even if the train is full (which it won't be) it's only a 10 minute ride. You could always stand up for 10 minutes. Get your ticket when you get there.

It's never a good idea to buy regional (regionale, or regionale veloce) tickets online. It has no advantage, and only entails restrictions that don't apply to the tickets bought at a train station.
