Opera Garnier

I will be traveling to Paris and would like to take a guided tour of the Opera Garnier. Does anyone know if the tours in English are daily? I saw a posting from last year and someone indicated they are only on Sat. Can someone confirm this for me?
Thanks,
Maggie

We did the tour on a week day. Make sure your ticket is all inclusive as the one we bought did not cover everything. I am sure you will enjoy it as it is a magnificent building.

I did the tour and I must say.....impressive! There was an English guided tour on a Sat. at 11:30 am. for 9 eu. The tour lasted 1 1/2 hr. I've traveled to Paris 8 times recently and this tour is on the top of my list. It's a must do!

I pulled up the website and the schedule for summer 2005 was July 1 "at" August 31. Does that mean in the summer, those are the only two months tours are done? Perhaps I'm not reading something right?

That's the summer schedule, with the word à mistranslated - should be "to."

The off-season sched is Sat-Sun 11:30, but from July 1 to August 31, it's every day at 11:30 and 2:30.

This sounds fun -- I think I'm going to take this tour myself on my next visit. Do you get to see 'behind the scenes' too, like the costume department?
