Oops~additional Paris Hotel possibility..

Sorry, I hit Post MM before remembering to look at a little note and Business card that my daughter picked up at two cute little hotels. Neither have a website. They are Hotel le Central and Les Argonautes. Thanks so much, I hope to make this decision tonight! Wish me luck. Kate

Good Luck!

But... what does this thread refer to? You might want to post it on the same original thread so other people know what you are talking about. Just a suggestion

hi, Kate -- I think you are making things a little confusing by starting a new post. You should have just "replied" to your own post to add more information so people have all the details and context.

The other post had something to do with Marais.

The Argonautes does have a web site, it is
www.hotel-les-argonautes.com

Looks okay for the price; you do know that is a very busy and noisy location (12 rue de la Huchette).

There are probably several Central Hotels in Paris, but if this is the one at 6 rue Descartes, it doesn't have a website, you're right -- it's only a 1* hotel, you know. I think the Argonautes is a 2*.

I would not book a 1* hotel sight unseen based on nothing but a business card myself. Did your daughter see the rooms in both to compare?

Hmmm... You're right, One * is pretty scarey! No, our daughter just walked by the facade and thought it looked cute. She's funny like that, but she won't be staying with us,and we are pickier. This is SO HARD. Thanks, Kate
