One and a bit days in Paris-is this itinerary doable?

My recollection is that the metro stops running at midnight. I also remember having to walk some miles back to my hotel due to not being able to find a cab. I've never really considered Paris to be a big nightlife city due to the paucity of late-night transportation, but maybe someone else has more info.

Evidently, peels4 will have a Paris Visite pass for 3 days for zones 1-5. It covers the airports.
